Old Brick Updates a Farmhouse Kitchen in Cream Ridge

Welcome to "At Home Custom Interiors", where we turn houses into dream homes.

This six-year-old kitchen was transformed into a STUNNING, character-filled space. We removed the dated granite, small sink, and microwave, making way for a beautiful DXV farmhouse sink, bridge faucet, and pot filler. The wood hood was custom painted in a patinated bronze with coordinating bronze cabinet pulls.

Outlets were relocated under the cabinets, and a light rail was installed for a polished look. Old brick with a 'messy mortar' technique adds rustic charm to the backsplash and peninsula, while a soldier course of brick above the window enhances height.

The peninsula cabinet’s barn door pull is the home’s original front door knocker, preserving its history. Window molding was replaced with rough-sawn wood and square nails for an aged look, tying in with the barn door.

Base cabinets are painted Graphite, uppers distressed Old White. Finishing with 'Beehive' pendant lights and Kohler’s Artifact faucet collection.

What was once 'nice but nothing special' is now a VERY special space with updated functionality and character.
