Function Meets Beauty in this Oceanport Kitchen
Welcome to At Home Custom Interiors, where we turn houses into dream homes.
This home was originally constructed by the builder for his son and when the son decided not to move in, the builder left a large section of the kitchen unfinished. The homeowners gave me a wish list that included a wine and coffee bar, an island large enough to seat 4, so that they could get rid of the kitchen table, a decorative range hood, and more storage.
We used the unfinished wall space to create a beautiful entertaining area, complete with a wine fridge and space for decor. The larger island, in an accent color, now has storage on both sides, and an extra long overhang to accommodate 4.
The range hood is not direct-vented, but still gives the beautiful focal point that they wanted. Backsplash is not boring, but still classic in white, and the same pattern repeats in gray in the wine bar.
Countertops are printed quartz, the faucet is touchless for convenience, as well as beauty, and the lighting creates the perfect mood. Floors were also refinished to complete the room.
Thank you for watching.
